NEWTONE CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced System Engineer to manage and secure enterprise infrastructure.

The role emphasizes hands-on VMware and Windows Server administration, AD/Group Policy, DNS, and security hardening. You will implement CIS controls and support vulnerability remediation across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has about 5 years of hands-on experience in system engineering and a solid foundation in security principles and infrastructure management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in System/Infrastructure Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization and Windows Server.
• Good knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and related Windows services.
• Practical Windows/server hardening and secure configuration.
• Familiarity with CIS Benchmarks / CIS Controls and security baselines.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and support VMware virtualization environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server infrastructure.
• Perform server deployment, configuration, patching, upgrades and monitoring.
• Implement system hardening and CIS-based security controls.
• Review configurations, identify gaps and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and related Windows services.
• Support vulnerability remediation, security assessments and audits.
• Maintain documentation and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity and app teams for secure ops.
