Job summary

Job description
  • Conceptualize and implement attractive, creative and innovative store displays according to Company’s plans and guidelines
  • Plan & execute retail marketing calendar across all store concepts in a timely manner
  • Review store displays with the Store Manager/Area Manager after completion
  • Ensure that all display fixtures and fittings are in perfect order at all times
  • Ensure that all VM props are properly kept and maintained when not in use. Checklist to be created and maintained to keep track of the available props for future usage to avoid unnecessary wastage
  • Coordinate the procurement, creation, installation and delivery of props for visual merchandising for all stores
  • Ensure the cleanliness of all interior display areas, windows and merchandise displayed are clean and tidy
  • Creating and implementing a visual merchandising strategy for the store
  • Ensuring the strategy is in line with the store’s brand, products and target market
  • Generating sketches of visual displays that meet the store’s visual design requirements
  • Sourcing the props, creative materials and accessories for displays
  • Installing and setting up of window displays, walkways, counters and in store displays, or supervising contractors hired for this purpose.
  • Researching lifestyle and design trends that will inform the visual merchandising strategy
  • Efficient undertaking of monthly VM related administration procedures such as budgeting, prop sourcing and VM store visit report
  • Develop and conduct VM trainings on a regular basis to strengthen store’s personnel’s VM expertise and elevate VM standards
  • Report to the Area Manager on damaged fixtures and fittings
Job Requirements
  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, spatial design, interior design, retail management or a related field
  • At least 2 years of working experience in the retail industry (fashion, sports, apparels required)
  • Solid experience in creating planogram and field visual merchandising, including window displays, signs, interior displays and space utilization
  • Creative and keeping abreast on the latest market trends
  • Hands on and willingness to perform operational work, when required
