The Singapore University of Social Sciences invites applications for a Visiting Professor (Social Work) to join the School of Social Work and Social Development. The role centers on teaching, course development, and applied research to advance the university's community impact.

The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues and external partners, contribute to outreach, and enhance academic programs while enjoying a hybrid work arrangement and access to SUSS's development

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline.
• Applicant with teaching and/or working experience in the relevant areas will have an added advantage.

Responsabilités

• Teach, manage and develop courses.
• Conduct academic and/or applied research.
• Participate in activities in the service of SUSS and outside of SUSS, including outreach to industry and involvement in industry projects.

What You Will Be Doing

The successful applicant will jo in the Social Workdiscipline in the School of Social Work and Social Development (SWSD). T he responsibilities of full-time faculty members include teaching, managing and developing courses, conducting academic and/or applied research, and being involved in activities in the service of SUSS and also outside of SUSS that may include outreach to industry and also involvement in industry projects.

Job Requirements

• Ph.D. degree holder in a relevant discipline.
• Applicant with teaching and/or working experience in the relevant areas will have an added advantage.
