Virologist

In this role, you will:

  • Design and execute experiments independently involving virological and immunological assays, small animal testing with mice in BSL2 / BSL3 facilities
  • Design and perform proteomic and transcriptomic analyses to understand host-pathogen interactions
  • Perform data analysis and prepare reports and slides based on experimental results
  • Present experimental results in review meetings
Job Requirements
  • Masters/ PhD in Immunology/ Virology
  • Willing to work in high containment laboratories (BSL3 and BSL4 facilities)
  • Willing to handle small animals (e.g. mice) in ABSL3 facility
  • Experience in virus culture, proteomic and transcriptomic technologies is required
  • Good communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work well both independently and as a team
