We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Violin Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will conduct private and small-group violin lessons for students of various ages and skill levels, creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
. Conduct one-on-one and small-group violin lessons for children, teenagers, and adults.
. Be familiar with the ABRSM examination syllabus and able to incorporate the Suzuki Method, particularly for beginner students.
. Prepare structured lesson plans according to each student's ability, learning pace, and musical goals.
. Teach fundamental musical skills, including rhythm, timing, intonation, technique, musicality, and performance skills.
. Prepare students for recitals, performances, examinations, and other musical activities where applicable.
. Maintain a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment.
. Maintain basic attendance and student progress records.
. Communicate professionally with parents regarding students' progress and learning needs.
Degree holder or equivalent qualification in Music, Violin Performance, Music Education, or a related field.
Proficient in violin with relevant teaching and/or performance experience.
Familiarity with the ABRSM examination syllabus.
Familiarity with the Suzuki Method is an advantage.
Able to teach students from beginner to advanced levels.
Enjoy working with children, teenagers, and adults.
Patient, responsible, enthusiastic, and committed to students' development.
Able to work independently and as part of a music school team.
