We're Hiring: Videographer / Editor (Full-time / Contract / Freelance)
Based in Singapore

WHO WE ARE

We’re Atypicalfilms. We make high‑end TVCs, branded films, and content that tells compelling stories with craft, purpose, and heart. We're now looking to expand our nimble content arm — the one that handles all the small‑but‑mighty projects: behind‑the‑scenes content, interviews, social media reels, insane reels for socials and anything that needs to be real, fast, and still excellent.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You're a videographer–editor hybrid with a good eye, a sharp brain, and nimble fingers. You can shoot solo or as part of a lean crew, and you know how to make everyday moments look cinematic, professional, and scroll‑stopping.

You're technically fluent, but also creatively curious and have a humble and still learning attitude. You like getting your hands dirty; whether it’s setting up lights in a tight office space, running audio for a candid interview, or slicing footage with eye‑popping color and a killer soundtrack overnight.

We’re not looking for someone to just press record. We’re looking for someone who feels the story, frames it right, and cuts it in a way that makes people take notice and care.

THE KIND OF WORK YOU’LL DO

• Social media content (interviews, short reels, montages)
• BTS and documentary‑style shoots
• Stakeholder interviews
• Light product demos or brand explainers
• Internal brand films
• Short promos, campaign recaps, pitch videos
• Content that moves quickly and still looks good

YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO:

• 🎥 Shoot confidently and independently — familiar with mirrorless or cinema cams (Sony FX3, A7S series, Blackmagic etc.)
• 💡 Set up basic lighting — key/fill/backlights, practicals, and lighting small spaces well
• 🎤 Record clean audio — lav mics, boom mics, dual system sound, syncing in post
• ✂️ Edit fast and clean — Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a bonus)
• 🎨 Handle basic colour and sound — nothing fancy, but polished enough for client delivery
• 🚗 Drive or move fast — Bonus if you can drive or move gear solo with ease. If not it's really alright.

THE IDEAL YOU

• Has 1–3 years of experience (or a solid reel to show for it)
• Loves visual storytelling and content creation
• Is reliable, self‑motivated, and cool under pressure
• Can juggle multiple projects without dropping quality
• Communicates clearly and is easy to work with
• Humble and willing to learn with a good growth mindset.
