Job description

The Video Production Lead oversees the full video production process—from concept development to final delivery. This role combines creative vision, technical expertise, and strong leadership to produce compelling video content that aligns with brand objectives and engages target audiences. You will be working on video production projections for both in‑house and with clients. You will also be required to oversee projects end to end, ensuring timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all phases of video production including pre‑production, filming, and post‑production.

Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and high‑quality output.

Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, freelancers, or agencies.

2. Creative Direction

Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to conceptualize storyboards, scripts, and visual approaches.

Maintain brand consistency and storytelling quality across all video content.

Guide camera work, lighting, and sound design to achieve desired creative results.

3. Technical Execution

Operate and manage professional video, audio, and lighting equipment as needed.

Supervise editing, color grading, motion graphics, and sound design.

Ensure final deliverables meet technical specifications for various platforms (social media, web, broadcast, events, etc.).

4. Team Management

Mentor and supervise videographers, editors, and production assistants.

Manage production schedules, assign roles, and ensure accountability throughout the team.

Provide constructive feedback and foster a culture of creativity and excellence.

5. Process & Innovation

Develop and maintain efficient production workflows and documentation.

Stay updated with video trends, new technologies, and creative techniques.

Continuously improve production quality and storytelling effectiveness.

Requirements
  • Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in video production or a similar creative role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing diverse production and editing work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition) or equivalent tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Deep understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
  • Experience managing live shoots and directing on set.
  • Familiarity with animation, motion graphics, or 3D production.
  • Knowledge of video optimization for digital and social media platforms.
