This full-time role is for a Video Editor and Videographer within our boutique ad agency. You will be responsible for creating and shooting videos, as well as contributing to conceptualization, filming, motion graphics, and video production.
The role requires a committed and responsible individual who can work independently, as this is a new position within the agency.
You will create and edit motion graphics using various software tools, including but not limited to those listed below:
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge and experience in filming techniques, including interview and voxpop-based filming.
- Procure and manage production equipment such as cameras, audio devices, video recorders, lighting, and microphones for both location and studio shoots.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver creative and original ideas for clients.
- Perform technical duties in web-based video and audio production, streaming, and multimedia projects.
- Create models, drawings, and illustrations by hand or electronically.
- Join images with background graphics and special effects.
- Ensure synchronization of frames and audio.
- Handle all editing processes.
- Work collaboratively with designers, art directors, and other creatives.
- Design and develop multimedia layouts, graphics, animations, and videos for social media and other platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate with social content managers, web developers, and content writers to develop multimedia content for websites and social media posts.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong interpersonal and professional skills.
- Advanced skills in video streaming and animation.
- Advanced graphic design capabilities.
- Experience with video and audio editing software such as Final Cut Studio, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Motion, and Compressor.
- Previous experience in a production house or agency setting is required.
