As a Vice Principal (Special Needs Education), you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum, assessments, and teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs.
  • Drive innovative teaching and assessment methods to improve learning outcomes.
  • Oversee systems that support holistic student development in a safe, supportive environment.
  • Develop and implement professional development plans aligned with sector goals.
  • Supervise and evaluate staff, provide coaching, and support career growth through structured performance management.
  • Engage parents and caregivers to reinforce learning and strengthen home-school collaboration.
  • Build strategic partnerships with stakeholders to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Co-manage administrative systems and ensure effective use of financial and manpower resources.
  • Lead school budgeting and guide departments in financial planning.
  • Manage daily school operations and undertake duties assigned by senior leadership.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Special Education, Diploma in Special Needs (DISE)
  • Possess at least 10 years of management experience, with a minimum of five years in leadership positions
  • Experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities is an added advantage
