Position Summary

This leadership role will define and execute regional sales strategies, lead business development activities, build and strengthen customer and partner relationships, and ensure the successful delivery of sales targets. A key focus will be on expanding power generation solutions business in alignment with global strategic objectives.

What You Will Be Doing
Regional Sales & Strategic Growth
  • Identify, acquire, and develop customers and sales partners, ensuring sustainable relationships.
  • Drive strategic growth initiatives aligned with network management.
  • Define and implement customer-focused sales activities (CRM).
  • Define key accounts and nominate Key Account Managers.
  • Lead and train sales forces in product, sales, and service knowledge.
  • Decide on staffing for projects and select project managers.
  • Represent company to customers and distributors.
  • Initiate appropriate internal measures to ensure customer satisfaction and manage RRPS risk.
Direct Sales to Global OEMs
  • Define OEMs, negotiate and finalize frame agreements covering all commercial and technical aspects.
  • Ensure effective quote-to-order and order-to-delivery processes for direct business.
Strategic Planning & Commercial Management
  • Develop and implement sales concepts specific to market trends.
  • Provide input to business unit strategic planning and drive regional strategy.
  • Track and deliver accurate forecasts; ensure CRM data accuracy.
  • Participate in pricing, annual price review, and discount approvals.
  • Collaborate with Controlling and After Sales on commercial terms, goodwill settlements, and service pricing.
  • Support product development initiatives and ensure market requirements are reflected in offerings.
Marketing & Market Development
  • Collect and analyze market intelligence and competitor insights.
  • Contribute to marketing strategy development.
  • Coordinate participation in trade fairs, customer events, and marketing campaigns with central marketing.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree advantageous).
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant sales experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role with revenue responsibility.
  • Proven experience developing and executing sales strategies to grow revenue and open new markets.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills in English; additional Asian language skills are a plus.
  • Solid technical background in power generation solutions.
  • Strong commercial acumen in pricing, costing, and driving EBIT targets.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with mtu engines or power generation systems.
  • Knowledge in hybrid, electrified, or digitalized power solutions.
  • Team leadership or mentoring experience.
