Job description
Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for enterprise architecture, application development, and system integration, ensuring alignment with business objectives and future scalability
  • Lead cross-functional teams of solution architects and developers to deliver high-quality, reliable, and secure enterprise solutions
  • Drive the evolution of the enterprise IT architecture and technology roadmap, with a business-first mindset and a strong focus on COTS platforms (e.g., SAP, Workday), ensuring agility, simplicity, and integration.
  • Oversee the design, customisation, implementation, and support of enterprise applications, balancing standardisation with business flexibility.
  • Develop and lead the enterprise-wide application strategy, covering both in-house development and COTS solution lifecycle management, including upgrades, support, and vendor management.
  • Provide architectural oversight and governance for large-scale initiatives, including cloud adoption, data analytics, enterprise collaboration, automation (e.g., RPA, electronic forms), and integration middleware.
  • Conduct technology evaluations and proof-of-concepts for emerging platforms and frameworks to ensure relevance and value to the business.
  • Establish and enforce technology policies, standards, and best practices to support robust, secure, and efficient operations.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and cultivate strong relationships across business units and external vendors.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise technology leadership, with a proven track record in architecture, systems integration, and application development across both custom-built and COTS platforms.
  • Deep experience in managing and supporting large-scale COTS implementations, especially SAP and Workday, including integration with legacy systems and cloud platforms.
  • Minimum 10 years in people management roles, leading high-performing technical teams across architecture, engineering, and support functions.
  • Hands-on experience in modern technology stacks, APIs, and enterprise integration tools.
  • Strong program delivery background in complex transformation initiatives, ideally within large consulting or systems integration environments.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, vendor negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, strategic thinking, and a passion for leveraging technology to drive business success.
