Job summary

Clifford Capital Asset Management is seeking an experienced operations partner to help the AM COO drive strategic priorities and build a scalable operating platform for asset management activities in Singapore.

You will oversee governance, controls, and day‑to‑day fund operations while coordinating investor operations and ensuring regulatory compliance in a fast‑paced MAS environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in asset management, private credit or private markets.
• Strong understanding of investment management operations and governance.
• Hands‑on experience across investment and fund operations, fund administration oversight and operational controls.
• Experience supporting fund or mandate launches and working with fund administrators, custodians and other outsourced service providers.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving skills and willingness to roll‑up sleeves and take ownership.
• Experience with managing key stakeholder obligations and MAS CMS Licensing requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support AM COO to develop and execute strategic priorities and business plans; build and scale the operating platform of the asset management business, ensuring governance discipline and execution excellence.
• Work with the AM COO to ensure operational readiness for all strategic initiatives: new fund launches, SMAs, new products and strategies, instruments, and strategic partnerships.
• Execute and oversee day‑to‑day investment and fund operations across the trade lifecycle.
• Support investor operations including onboarding, KYC/AML coordination, capital calls, distributions, investor reporting and due diligence requests.
• Drive cross‑functional initiatives and special projects from planning through implementation.
• Coordinate annual business planning, budgeting and operational objectives.
• Support governance, controls, and regulatory compliance alignment and updates.
• Assist in developing data management requirements and integration of asset management processes into Group systems.

Job description

Clifford Capital Asset Management (“AM”) is a new line of business that was established in December 2024. CCAM is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (“MAS”) and holds a Capital Market Service License to conduct fund management activities for accredited and institutional investors. CCAM will focus on launching mandates as well as collective investment schemes.

Reporting to the Group Chief Operating Officer, the incumbent will serve as a trusted partner, helping to drive strategic initiatives, operational excellence, governance and cross-functional execution across the asset management business. This is a hands‑on role and will work closely with cross functional teams across the Group such as Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Treasury, Operations and Technology.

Primary Responsibilities and Key Skillsets:

• Support AM’s Chief Operating Officer (“AM COO”) to develop and execute strategic priorities and business plans; and to build and scale the operating platform of the asset management business, ensuring operational readiness, governance discipline, and execution excellence
• Working together with the AM COO to ensure operational readiness for all strategic initiatives, including:
• New fund launches
• Separate Managed Accounts (SMAs)
• New products and strategies
• New instruments
• Strategic partnerships
• Execute and oversee day‑to‑day investment and fund operations across the trade lifecycle
• Support investor operations, including onboarding, KYC/AML coordination, capital calls and distributions, investor reporting and operational due diligence requests, in partnership with the relevant functions.
• Drive cross functional initiatives and any special projects from planning through implementation.
• Coordinate annual business planning, budgeting and operational objectives.
• Support AM COO to ensure that governance, controls, and regulatory compliance are in place, updated and adhered to
• Support AM in developing its data management requirements and support the integration of asset management and product processes into Group systems
• Any other roles and responsibilities that may be assigned by Group Chief Operating Officer and/or AM COO

Professional Experience / Qualifications:

• At least 5 – 7 years of relevant experience in asset management, private credit or broader private markets
• Strong understanding of investment management operations and governance
• Hands‑on experience across investment and fund operations, fund administration oversight and operational controls.
• Experience supporting fund or mandate launches and working with fund administrators, custodians and other outsourced service providers
