The Vice President, Application Solutions is a senior business leader with full P&L accountability, responsible for driving growth, profitability, and strategic direction of the Application Solutions division. The role combines market-facing leadership with operational excellence, ensuring that client needs are met through innovative, high-quality application services while delivering sustainable financial results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Leadership & P&L Ownership: Lead the Application Solutions division as a strategic business unit with end-to-end accountability for revenue, profitability, and market share growth.
  • Growth & Sales Enablement: Partner with sales leadership to shape go-to-market strategies, build a strong pipeline, and drive business development activities that expand client portfolios and revenue streams.
  • Client Engagement: Act as an executive sponsor for key accounts, strengthening C-level client relationships and ensuring long‑term partnerships and customer satisfaction.
  • Solution Strategy: Define and evolve the divisional portfolio across application development, modernization, digital platforms, and managed services to remain competitive and differentiated in the market.
  • Delivery Excellence: Oversee execution of large-scale transformation programs, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, and high‑quality delivery with measurable business outcomes.
  • Innovation & Differentiation: Anticipate industry trends (cloud‑native, AI/ML, automation, DevSecOps, low‑code/no‑code) and integrate them into divisional offerings to stay ahead of market demand.
  • Financial & Operational Management: Develop budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics; ensure cost discipline and continuous efficiency improvements.
  • Talent & Leadership Development: Build, inspire, and retain a high‑performing leadership team and workforce across regions, embedding a culture of accountability, agility, and innovation.
  • Corporate Contribution: Provide strategic input to the executive team, influencing company‑wide decisions, investments, and long‑term growth initiatives.
Knowledge and Attributes
  • Proven business leader with strong commercial acumen and full P&L management experience.
  • Strong understanding of the application solutions market, digital transformation drivers, and IT services landscape.
  • Skilled in sales enablement, pipeline development, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Excellent relationship builder with executive‑level client engagement and negotiation skills.
  • Experienced in balancing business development with delivery assurance to maximize client value and profitability.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to scale operations and innovate service offerings.
  • High integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to influence across complex organizational structures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent).
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Agile/SAFe, Cloud certifications) desirable.
Experience
  • Extensive experience leading large-scale application solutions/services within IT consulting, technology, or digital services organizations.
  • Proven track record of full P&L ownership with responsibility for driving revenue and profitability growth.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, sales pipeline generation, and client relationship management at the executive level.
  • Strong experience managing senior leaders and large global delivery teams.
  • Successful track record in delivering enterprise‑scale application modernization and transformation programs.
  • Experience managing complex budgets and ensuring financial accountability across large divisions.
