Job summary

A veterinary clinic in Singapore is seeking a Veterinary Technician to assist veterinarians, monitor patients during surgeries, and educate pet owners on care. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Veterinary Technology and experience in a veterinary setting. This role requires excellent animal handling skills and a commitment to maintaining clinic hygiene.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Veterinary Technology / Animal Science or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in medical examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Handle and restrain animals safely and confidently.
• Administer prescribed medications, injections, and treatments.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of clinic facilities, equipment, and wards.
• Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, nutrition, and preventive healthcare.
• Manage patient records and assist with administrative duties as required.
