Job summary

Qualifications

• No prior veterinary nursing experience required; training provided.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills are beneficial.

WE’RE HIRING – JUNIOR VETERINARY NURSE

We are looking for a Junior Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Island Vets.

This position is suitable for someone who is new to veterinary nursing or at the early stage of their career and is keen to learn, develop practical skills and grow within a veterinary clinic.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting veterinarians during consultations and procedures
• Handling and caring for dogs, cats and other small animals
• Assisting with hospitalised patients and treatments
• Preparing consultation and treatment areas
• Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and infection-control standards
