Job summary

A marine engineering company in Singapore is seeking a skilled designer to prepare production drawings and provide design expertise for engineering systems and structural design. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and a relevant engineering degree. Responsibilities include producing schematic and construction drawings for vessels and working closely with project leaders on priority updates. Knowledge of CAD software is required, along with experience in ship piping systems and outfitting design.

Qualifications

• Experience in ship's piping systems, design of mechanical components, and outfitting design.
• Knowledge of Classification Society regulations.
• Experience with AutoCAD 2D/3D or any CAD software.
• At least 2 years of experience in a relevant engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production drawings and deliverables to support project schedule.
• Provide design expertise for engineering systems, outfitting and structural design.
• Produce detailed schematic drawings and outfitting construction drawings for the vessel.
• Provide as-built drawings for vessel deliveries.
• Work closely with design project PIC’s on urgent/priority drawings.
