Job summary

Motion Ventures is an early stage venture capital fund focused on digital and energy transition across global supply chains. We are looking for a VC Analyst Intern to help source and evaluate deals and support portfolio growth.

You will work directly with our Founder and investment team, gaining hands-on exposure to maritime and supply chain focused venture funding from term sheet to portfolio growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics from leading universities.
• Previous internship experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital, or M&A/corporate development highly preferred.
• High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong financial literacy, analytical skills, and spreadsheet modelling skills.
• Able to work well with diverse teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Self-starter with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• No visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Source, qualify, and screen new investment opportunities.
• Conduct due diligence and investment research.
• Prepare investment memos.
• Build and maintain relationships with founders, CEOs, and ecosystem partners.
• Monitor and evaluate portfolio company performance.
• Support portfolio companies with strategic and operational input.
• Develop relationships with co-investors, corporates, and strategic partners.
• Prepare performance reports, insights, and trend analysis.
