As a UX Researcher, you will play a critical role in helping company develop deep, actionable insights into the needs, behaviors, and desires of our customers. This is essential for the creation and continuous improvement of our products and services. This role involves planning and executing research studies, interfacing directly with customers, synthesising qualitative and quantitative data and insights across the organisation, contributing to the research strategy, and working closely with senior stakeholders and the wider UX research team.
What you’ll be doing
You will contribute to the UX Research function by carrying out both qualitative and quantitative research across company’s digital product portfolio. Your responsibilities include:
- Research Execution: Oversee and conduct a broad range of generative, iterative, and evaluative design research activities, such as user interviews, surveys, usability tests (web and mobile), A/B testing, and card sorting.
- Insight Generation: Synthesise complex qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights, ensuring meticulous documentation of findings.
- Strategic Mixed-Methods Synthesis: Move beyond single-study reports to blend qualitative insights with quantitative datasets (like CSAT trends and product analytics), creating a single, high-confidence narrative for product strategy.
- Organisational Translation: Act as a research consultant across multiple product lines, identifying patterns that impact the whole company while translating specific nuances for individual teams.
- Stakeholder Communication: Create compelling research reports and presentations for senior management that present analysis and recommendations succinctly and clearly, translating research findings into actionable product, design, and business strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with designers, product managers, engineering teams, and business partners. Participate in design brainstorming sessions and workshops to guide design decisions and collaborate on potential solutions to issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in UX research.
- Proven ability to design and synthesise quantitative research, leveraging data from CSAT, surveys, and analytics to triangulate findings and recommend next steps.
- Direct experience with diverse research methods, including both traditional and modern approaches to recruitment and reporting.
- Proficient in user research principles, methodologies, and deliverables, such as service design blueprints, journey maps, and process flows.
- Ability to select the right research and synthesise timely insights into coherent, actionable deliverables for design, product, business, and technology teams.
- Expertise in defining research objectives with product, design, brand, and engineering teams to support the entire product lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of product design processes and emerging technologies.
- Comfortable collaborating with Product, Tech, Data, and Business partners to deliver quality services and experiences.
- Familiarity with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Demonstrates systems thinking, planning, and has successfully implemented projects in dynamic, agile environments.
Good-to-have
- B.A. or M.A. in Psychology, HCI, Service Design, or other behavioral sciences.
- Advanced degree, training, or certification in service design, UX design, or related design fields.
- Experience with advanced quantitative research methods and tools.
- Business proficiency in a vernacular language (Chinese, Indian or Malay).
