Responsibilities

User experience (UX) design is the process of creating products that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users. This involves the design of the entire process of acquiring and integrating the product, including aspects of branding, design, usability, and function.

• Understand Product needs, goals and constraints to make UX recommendations
• Conduct research to identify customer pain points and wish list to enhance UX
• Collaborate with Dev team to produce innovative solutions to solve UX issues and/or improve overall UX
• Prepare design documents, interactive wireframes, mockups & prototypes using software tools
• Adopt user‑centric design approach while working collaboratively in brainstorming sessions to design innovative solutions to complex problems
• Create usable assets that conform to the design guidelines for each platform (iOS, Android, Web)
• Keep up to date on the latest frameworks, industry trends and technologies for UX and put them to good use!

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of UX design experience
• Possess strong understanding of Psychology and Human Behaviour for constructing meaningful UX
• Any combination of education, experience and training that demonstrates possession of specific job skills required for this position
• Strong understanding of UI and interaction design principles and architecture with an eye for detail and consistency
• Experience and knowledge of Sketch will be an added advantage
• Organized, self‑starter, precise and able to produce accurate work under minimal supervision
• Passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation
• Strong oral and written English communication skills

Your portfolio of prior projects that include samples that demonstrate:

1. Improvements in UI/UX (i.e. before vs after comparison), preferably supported with accompanying usage statistical data
2. The full set of work processes executed to achieve the end product
3. Articulate the tools used for each step of the work processes (i.e. Wireframing, Designing, Mockup preparation, Developer handoff & Web Analytics)
