Job summary

RICH CONSTRUCTION COMPANY is seeking a civil engineer to support underground utilities coordination in Singapore. The role requires liaison with utilities agencies and the client to resolve discrepancies in utility plans and ensure compliant non-conformance and excavation practices.

The ideal candidate holds at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with 5+ years of related experience, can work independently, and contribute effectively within a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience coordinating with utility agencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager on related underground utilities and services.
• Coordinate between subcontractor and Utilities agencies and Client to resolve discrepancies on utility plan.
• Experience dealing with utility agencies like PUB (Sewer, Water Supply, Network).
• Liaise and resolve interfacing services clashes on site in a fair and professional manner.
• Ensure all NCE are in proper order prior to excavation works.
• Check and coordinate with Site Engineer to ensure no excavation work without cable detection or valid NCE.

Requirements:

• Candidate must at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Min 5 year relevant experience in the related field for this position, coordination with utility agencies for projects of similar scale, complexity and nature of work
• Be able to work independently with minimum guidance
• Good team player, keen desire to learn, contribute, advance and progress with the company
