Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse operational and performance data from utilities systems such as HVAC, chilled water, boilers, compressed air, and clean utilities.
  • Develop trend analyses to identify performance deviations, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Create dashboards, charts, and reports using Excel and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI) to support engineering and operations decision-making.
  • Work closely with Utilities Engineers and Operations teams to translate system behaviour and operational challenges into data-driven insights.
  • Support routine performance reporting as well as ad-hoc analysis requests from the utilities management team.
  • Assist with data cleansing, validation, and continuous improvement of performance metrics and reporting methods.
  • Provide clear, actionable insights and recommendations that may be implemented to improve reliability, efficiency, and system performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Environmental, Industrial) or a quantitative discipline such as Data Analytics, Data Science, or Applied Mathematics.
  • 0–2 years of experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charting).
  • Experience or exposure to Power BI or similar data visualisation tools is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of data analysis, trend analysis, and KPI tracking.
  • Interest or exposure to utilities, facilities, manufacturing, or industrial operations is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to translate data into clear insights.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work closely with engineering and operations teams.
