Job summary

KPMG Services Pte Ltd is seeking a diligent auditor to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will work in teams to understand client businesses, perform audits in line with planning, and prepare audit work papers with careful attention to evidence sufficiency and clear conclusions.

The ideal candidate has a recognised degree in Accountancy and professional qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CPA), 3–5 years of listed-client experience, and strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and SOX-404.

Qualifications

• A recognised degree in Accountancy and professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience handling a portfolio of listed clients.
• Strong understanding of business and risk management issues with familiarity of regulatory and reporting standards.
• Good working knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and SOX-404.
• Experience in IPO engagements is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, analytical skills and business acumen.
• Adaptability to fast-changing internal/external environments with ownership of outcomes, with team support.

• Understanding the relationships between objectives of the audit sections, the need for the sufficiency of audit evidence, and presentation of the conclusions

The ideal candidate should have:

• A recognised degree in Accountancy and professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent
• Brings along 3 - 5 years of experience in handling a portfolio of listed clients
• A good understanding of pertinent business and risk management issues and familiarity with the relevant regulatory and reporting standards
• Good working knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and SOX-404
• Experience in handling IPO engagements is greatly advantageous
• Excellent communications skills, strong analytical skills and excellent business acumen
• Demonstrates adaptability to fast-changing internal and external environments, and takes ownership of outcomes, with support from partners, managers, and the team
