A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a skilled Senior/M&E Facilities Engineer to manage engineering operations and maintenance of facilities. You will oversee M&E systems, develop maintenance programs, and mentor junior staff. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 4+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency with tools like AutoCAD. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/M&E Facilities Engineer to join our client's team. This critical role will play a pivotal part in overseeing the engineering operations and maintenance of our client's assets, ensuring their efficient and reliable performance.
Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (M&E) systems within the client's facilities
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance and lifespan
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with building systems and equipment
Oversee and coordinate the work of external contractors and service providers
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Analyze energy consumption data and implement efficiency measures to reduce costs and environmental impact
Provide technical expertise and support for renovation, alteration, and addition (A&A) projects
Mentor and train junior engineering personnel to develop their skills and knowledge
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
A minimum of 4 years of experience as a M&E Facilities Engineer, preferably in a campus or educational facilities setting
Comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, fire protection, and building automation
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions
Strong project management and coordination capabilities, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, BMS, and CMMS
Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
