Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging Chinese language lessons to students of varying proficiency levels.
  • Develop and implement creative teaching materials, activities, and games to enhance learning.
  • Cultivate students’ interest in Chinese language, culture, and values.
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress through tests, classwork, and participation.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students and parents on performance and improvement areas.
  • Maintain a positive, encouraging, and disciplined classroom environment.
  • Prepare lesson plans aligned with the school or enrichment centre’s curriculum and standards.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and curriculum development activities.
  • Organize or support cultural events, performances, or competitions related to Chinese language and culture.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess minimally a Bachelor Degree in Education, Chinese Language and Literature, Chinese Studies (for Primary & Secondary Levels) or Preschool Teacher or Early Childhood (for Preschool Levels) or equivalent.
  • Teaching experience in local school will be an advantage
  • Training provided for those without experience
  • Able to work in weekdays evening, weekends and public holiday
