Job summary

A leading engineering firm based in Singapore seeks a Sales Manager to lead a sales team focused on water quality analysers. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the water and wastewater sectors, and a strong educational background in engineering or environmental sciences. Responsibilities include pursuing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver solutions. Competitive compensation and travel opportunities are part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Strong B2B sales track record preferably in water and wastewater sectors.
  • Prior experience managing sales teams and key accounts will be an advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and inspire the sales team to achieve consistent and sustainable performance.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, projects, and tender prospects within water and wastewater applications.

  • Formulate and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and growth objectives for water quality analysers.

  • Manage, develop, and expand key accounts across water utilities, infrastructure projects, semiconductor facilities, industrial users, and engineering firms.

  • Collaborate closely with technical, service, and marketing teams to deliver comprehensive customer solutions.

  • Prepare and present technical-commercial proposals, quotations, tenders, and product demonstrations to customers.

  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to continuously refine sales strategies.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Environmental Studies, or a related discipline.

  • At least 5 years of proven sales experience in water quality analysers, analytical instruments, or environmental technology solutions.

  • Strong B2B sales track record, preferably within the water & wastewater, process, or industrial sectors.

  • Prior experience managing sales teams and key accounts will be a strong advantage.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation capabilities.

  • Self-driven, strategic, and customer-focused with strong business acumen.

  • Willingness to travel as required.
