Conduct applied research in computer vision and multimodal learning, with a focus on developing novel algorithms, improving model accuracy and robustness, and reducing computational and inference overhead.
Develop and optimize AI-enabled solutions that support low-latency, reliable, and resilient operation over telecommunication systems.
Design, implement, and optimize AI models for robotic manipulation and control in resource-constrained environments.
Collaborate with researchers and engineers to define research directions, develop prototypes, and translate research outcomes into practical solutions for real-world technical and business challenges.
Stay current with advances in AI research, including emerging developments in telecom AI applications, robotics, and Physical AI.
PhD in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Demonstrated ability to independently drive research and development projects from conception through completion.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Publications at leading peer-reviewed venues (i.e., AAAI, CVPR, ICML, NeurIPS, etc.) are preferred.
Proven research and development experience in computer vision, robotics, or related fields.
Hands-on experience in computer vision model development, multimodal modeling and fine-tuning large language models (LLM).
Proficiency in mainstream AI development frameworks, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Strong programming skills in at least one language, such as Python, C/C++.
Knowledge of Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models and Physical AI systems would be an advantage.
