Overview

Trade & Export Compliance Specialist (12-month contract)

Location: Suntec Tower

Onboarding: December 2025 or January 2026

Salary: Up to $4,300/month

We’re looking for a Trade & Export Compliance Specialist to support the APAC Trade Compliance Manager and Global Trade Compliance Team in managing export control activities and ensuring adherence to international trade regulations. Based in Singapore, you’ll play a key role in overseeing day-to-day export and import operations while maintaining full compliance across the APAC region.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with regional and international export control regulations (e.g. US ECCN, SG ECCN).
  • Support day-to-day export and import operations across APAC, coordinating with customs brokers, logistics providers, and internal warehouse teams for timely, accurate shipments.
  • Maintain and update trade data for all products — including ECCNs, HTS codes, Country of Origin, valuation, and invoice accuracy.
  • Oversee proper recordkeeping and document management for all import/export transactions.
  • Prepare documentation for audits and assist in compliance reviews.
  • Support digitalisation initiatives, workflow optimisation, and process improvement projects within trade compliance.
  • Handle end-user undertakings, basic screening, and internal stakeholder follow-ups.
  • Manage export license applications and ST Goods under the Strategic Trade Scheme (STS) and TradeFIRST framework.
  • Provide logistics and shipping operations support as needed.
  • Work independently while maintaining clear communication with trade compliance and logistics teams.
Qualifications
  • Proven knowledge of trade compliance and export control regulations.
  • Familiarity with STP and TradeFIRST, as well as ST Goods handling and export licensing.
  • Strong coordination skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and communicate effectively in a regional setting.
