A local recruitment agency is seeking a candidate with strong project management and media management skills for a role focused on community engagement and support. Responsibilities include developing projects with community partners, executing communication strategies, and managing public inquiries. Ideal candidates are team players with good editorial skills and a customer service mindset. This role offers exposure to working within a government institution, located near East MRT, with standard office hours from Monday to Friday.
Work closely with the Offices of assigned divisions in providing social and employment assistance to the needy within the division.
Develop and execute district level projects and joint-projects with community partners such as Grassroots Organisations, community partners, schools, government bodies and non-government organisations.
Develop and implement publicity plans for projects and programmes in conjunction with department’s work plans.
Develop and execute tactical plans for all communications channels in projects and programmes with the view to increase engagement across these channels
Draft/vet talking points/soundbites for spokespersons, and prepares them for media interviews.
Plan/Draft and issue Media Advisories, speeches, key messages, coordinates media engagement for stakeholders and participants.
Handle media queries.
Monitor, track and analyse news/trends which may directly affect and recommend appropriate responses.
Prepare media reports for projects executed.
Contribute content for publications, Intranet, website, videos and other collateral, including editorial and visual materials. Coordinate publicity materials required for all projects.
Manage public enquiries/feedback and requests from external agencies.
Develop & manage social media content calendar in line with each project requirement and in accordance to overall social media
Onsite event management execution for communications-related matters.
Onsite execution for peripheral tasks such as photography/videography together with project teams in line with Corporate Communications & Project Requirements
Manage project budgets, execute project tactical plans
Team player with good project management and customer service skills

5 day work week office hours
Mon to Thurs 8.5hrs: 8.30am – 6.00pm
Fri 8hrs: 8.30am – 5.30pm
