Job summary

URA is seeking a civil/structural engineer to join a focused team developing Singapore’s underground master plan and space optimisation initiatives. The role involves collaborating with land planners and infrastructure agencies to shape policies and technical frameworks for future urban development.

You will lead planning, design, and implementation of integrated underground developments, bringing engineering and geotechnical expertise to feasibility studies, technical reports, and policy

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant civil/structural engineering experience and a strong foundation in infrastructure and services planning and geotechnical works.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical abilities, including economic and financial analysis capabilities.
• Proficiency in GIS, CAD, and BIM software is essential.
• Strong project management, communication, and report writing skills; ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate planning, design, and implementation of integrated underground developments.
• Provide engineering and geotechnical expertise for complex underground projects.
• Oversee feasibility studies of infrastructural facilities and perform quantitative analyses to optimise space usage.
• Prepare technical reports and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support policy development.
