Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to understand project requirements and user needs.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and other design documentation to ensure consistency across products.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, data insights, and evolving project requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, design tools, and best practices to continuously improve design processes.
• Work closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs and collaborate on design feasibility.
• Advocate for a user centred design approach and contribute to a user‑centric design culture within the organisation.
• Present and communicate design concepts and solutions to stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous design work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
• Solid understanding of user centred design principles and methodologies.
• Experience with creating wireframes, prototypes, and interactive design solutions.
• Strong visual design skills, including an eye for typography, colour, and layout.
• Knowledge of design trends, usability principles, and accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively present and articulate design decisions.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, iterative development environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for various platforms, including web and mobile.
• Knowledge of front‑end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate collaboration with development teams.
• Understanding of design thinking methodologies.
• Previous experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.
