Job summary

Shopee is looking for a UI/UX Design Intern in Singapore. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to create engaging UI/UX solutions for our web and app platforms.

The ideal candidate is currently studying in a design-related field, has a good understanding of e-Commerce, and is proficient in Figma. We prefer full-time interns for 3-6 months, but part-time interns with a minimum of 3 working days a week are also welcome.

Qualifications

• Currently in a design-related degree or diploma program.
• Good grasp of design principles in e-Commerce.
• Proficient in Figma; knowledge of animation/prototyping a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers on UI/UX solutions.
• Understand design guidelines and produce compliant digital outputs.
• Craft design solutions with functional and interactive insights.

Skills

Understanding of e-Commerce and business design

Proficiency in Figma

Education

Currently studying in design, HCI, IS, CS, or related field

• Understand platform design guidelines and generate professional digital output that is usable, compliant, facilitating the development
• Craft design solutions with functional, logical and interactive insights

Requirements

• Currently studying in a university or polytechnic, preferably in design major (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, IS, CS, or related Diploma / Degree
• Good understanding of e-Commerce and business design
• Proficiency in Figma with additional skill setss advantageous for animation and prototyping
