Job summary

Quess Corp Limited is seeking immediate candidates or those with a notice period of up to 3 weeks for a frontend development role based in Singapore. The position focuses on building scalable Angular applications, translating designs into high-quality code, and contributing to the entire application lifecycle.

You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product owners to deliver reusable UI components, ensure performance, and adhere to secure coding practices.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure frontend applications using Angular framework.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product owners to translate design mockups and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, testing, and deployment.
• Develop reusable UI components and libraries to promote consistency and accelerate development cycles.
• Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement and adhere to secure coding best practices, addressing potential vulnerabilities like XSS and CSRF.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and industry best practices.
• Contribute to code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to architectural standards.

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., RxJS for Angular) is beneficial.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and the ability to work with design systems
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Karma, Jasmine for Angular; Jest, React Testing Library for React) is a plus.
• Familiarity with build tools (e.g., Webpack, npm scripts) and package managers (npm, Yarn).
• Understanding of agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
