Job summary

Univers in Singapore is seeking a design leader to define and communicate a cohesive design vision across a multi-service portfolio. You will ensure brand consistency and scale design processes as the platform grows, guiding teams through AI-enabled design shifts.

This role emphasizes collaboration with engineering, product, and brand to create scalable, accessible experiences that underpin a real-time platform used across energy and infrastructure domains.

Qualifications

• Strong product design experience, including meaningful work on design systems, platform experiences, or shared product foundations.
• Proven experience leading UX for complex B2B or SaaS platforms.
• Strong background in UX architecture, interaction models, and system-level design.
• Strong understanding of agentic automation and how it will impact traditional design models.
• A systems thinker who can turn complexity into clear, scalable solutions.
• Experience working deeply with Engineering and enough technical fluency to understand how design systems become real, scalable product infrastructure.
• Ability to partner across Brand and Product, connecting expressive brand thinking with functional needs.
• A natural leader who can create clarity, alignment, and momentum without needing a lot of structure.
• Practical and hands-on. You can think long-term while knowing when to simplify, make progress, and get things shipped.
• Curiosity about AI and the future of how teams design and build products.
• Experience supporting multi-product or platform-based organizations is preferred.
• A background in high-growth, fast-scaling product environments is preferred.

• Lead the team through a significant paradigm shift as emerging AI tools reshape the practice of design. This includes defining AI-assisted workflows, rethinking traditional design methodologies, and elevating the strategic role of UX within the organization.
• Drive cross-functional alignment on shared design patterns, interaction models, and robust design systems that seamlessly scale across multiple AI-powered services.
• Raise the bar for craft, consistency, and accessibility across our products.
