Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced UAV Technician to lead maintenance and troubleshooting of UAV systems. Candidates must have a diploma in a relevant engineering field and at least 2 years of experience in the engine/air-vehicle maintenance domain. Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead inspection, maintenance, repair and testing of UAV hardware and associated systems to maintain operational readiness.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults using advanced diagnostic tools and apply engineering principles to rectify issues promptly.
  • Work with engineering, operations and logistics teams to plan maintenance schedules and implement system upgrades.
  • Manage and utilise standard operating procedures, maintenance manuals and technical reports to support knowledge management and compliance standards.
  • Provide support during events or exercises when requested, ensuring UAV systems perform under operational conditions.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
  • Proven experience in UAV maintenance and troubleshooting, with a strong technical foundation in electronics, mechanics and system integrations.
  • Mandatory: UAV Technician – specifically at the engine / air-vehicle maintenance domain — for at least 2 years.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation across teams and stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, a proactive approach to safety and quality assurance.
