Job summary

Sciente International Pte Ltd is seeking a testing-focused engineer to support Loan Origination System (LOS) projects in Singapore. The role emphasizes system testing, UAT preparation, credit rule configuration, and defect management, with hands-on Python for test automation.

Ideal candidates have a computer science or engineering background, are analytical, able to work independently, and proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with LOS UAT and rule engines is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
Experience in system testing and/or UAT testing.
Proficiency in Python programming.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders on LOS projects focusing on system testing and test pool preparation for unit testing.
Support UAT by addressing user/IT queries related to credit rule configuration.
Configure and support the in‑house batch testing tool for UAT.
Apply Python programming to support testing and related activities.
Coordinate with IT teams to ensure timely project delivery.
Track UAT defects and communicate resolutions to stakeholders.
