Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking a Turnaround Mechanical Planner to oversee efficient planning and scheduling of maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in the refinery industry and possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering. This role plays a crucial part in mitigating climate change through sustainable practices and requires strong collaboration skills.

Qualifications

  • At least 7 years relevant experience in refinery and petrochemical industry.
  • Experienced in TA, maintenance work control, planning, costing for mechanical equipment.
  • Knowledgeable with international (ASME, API) & local standards related to mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage TA Planning Process and deliver the respective phases and milestones.
  • Ensure mechanical planning maximizes efficiency for successful execution.
  • Retain planning best practices into the Task List Library.

We are looking for you, Turnaround Mechanical Planner

to our Maintenance team in the Singapore Tuas Refinery.

You will focus on safe, flawless, on time delivery of Turnarounds (TA) and Shutdowns. In this job you will work closely with Maintenance sub-teams and various departments in the organization.

In our team, you will be responsible for developing efficient and effective work/job package planning for all mechanical work requests for the Turnaround/Shutdown. You will deliver planning and scheduling efficiency through integrating the needs and contributions from Reliability, Asset Management, Technical, Operations and HSSE.   • TA Planning Process Management: Understand and successfully deliver the respective 7 phases and milestones of the TA Planning Process.
  • Quality Planning Output: Ensure the resulting mechanical planning products maximize planning efficiency and set the execution team up for a successful execution.
  • Knowledge Retention & Continuous Improvement: Perform planning best practices/knowledge/efficiency retention into the Task List Library and ways of working to enable compounded planning efficiency for future events.
Keys to success in this role / The best combination to succeed in this role
  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
  • At least 7 years relevant experience in refinery and petrochemical industry.
  • Experienced in TA, maintenance work control, planning, costing for mechanical equipment.
  • Understands TA planning process and SAP/PM/CM maintenance process.
  • Knowledgeable with international (ASME, API) & local standards related to mechanical equipment.
