Job summary

A leading engineering and construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced TBM Operator to assist in the assembly and operation of Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM). Responsibilities include maintenance of the tunnel's line and grade, cutterhead inspections, and managing safety hazards. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience and relevant safety certifications. This position offers a challenging environment in a dynamic industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as a TBM Operator, experience in Slurry Plant is an advantage.
• Possess certificate in Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course (BCSS) and Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course (BCSS-T).

Responsibilities

• Assist the M & E team with assembly and disassembly of TBM.
• Handle all aspects of TBM operation including maintenance of line and grade.
• Undertake cutterhead and tool inspection during the drive.
• Identify and communicate safety hazards.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Assist the M & E team with assembly and disassembly of TBM.
2. All aspects of TBM operation including maintenance of line and grade of the tunnel while steering the TBM, as well as operation of the segment erector and annular grouting systems.
3. Undertake cutterhead and tool inspection during the drive, take charge of emergency situations within the TBM.
4. Identify and communicate any and all working environment safety hazards.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 3 years experience as a TBM Operator. Experience in Slurry Plant is also an additional advantage.
2. Possess certificate in Building Construction Supervsiors Safety Course (BCSS) and Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course (BCSS-T).
