Job summary

Airbus Singapore Private Limited is seeking a Professional Engineer to support Fleet Health Lead in delivering Fleet Watch and Health Monitoring for the SIA A380 fleet and SCOOT A320 Family. The role ensures high operational reliability aligned with airworthiness standards and Airbus Technical Standards.

You will coordinate with Engineering Avionics/Systems/Powerplant teams, assist in AOG handling, and contribute to continuous improvement projects while maintaining strict safety and quality

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent in aviation/maintenance.
• Aircraft maintenance license or equivalent certification.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Airline/MRO/OEM engineering/technical roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform Pre-Departure Check and Flight Watch on shift.
• Monitor recurring defects and trend data using AIRMAN and SKYWISE.
• Support daily operations for base and outstation.
• Contribute to engineering recommendations for predictive/preventive maintenance.

Job Objectives

The Jobholder, as a member of the Flight Hour Services (FHS) entity, supports Fleet Health Lead for the delivery and performance of the Fleet Watch and Health Monitoring activities provided to the SIA A380 fleet and provides operational support to the engineering activities to the SCOOT A320 Family fleet. In his/her function, the job holder is responsible for maintaining SIA A380 and SCOOT A320 Family fleet to the highest Operational Reliability in line with airworthiness requirements EASA and CAAS and in accordance with Airbus Technical Standards and FHS Financial interests.

Job Responsibilities

• Pre-Departure Check and Flight Watch activities on Shift basis
• Assist in the monitoring of Recurring Defects / Trend Monitoring with the usage of AIRMAN and SKYWISE
• Support daily operations for main base and outstation
• Assist in the creation of engineering recommendations for predictive and preventive maintenance
• Expedite Critical Mods at Line Maintenance in collaboration with Materials Management, Planning and Operations.
• Assist in MRO daily tasks management
• Assist during the support of AOG events and critical troubleshooting on aircraft
• Assist in the preparation of AOG reports and coordinate any post-AOG follow-up
• Assess defect rectification opportunities in collaboration with Materials Management, Planning and Operations.
• Serve as interface between Airbus Head Office Customer Support Department and Customer
• Assist the team in the technical or ad-hoc projects and process improvement as required
• Assist the team in technical support outside of office hours on shift and duty basis
• Ensure that emerging fleet issues are communicated to the TSP Engineering Avionics/Systems/Powerplant team for long term engineering follow-up.
• Support and develop new Business case related to AOTP improvement.
• Participate in SKYWISE development, trials and improvement
• Provide technical inputs to Fleet Health Lead to support TSC/RIC/TRM discussions

Job Requirements

• Minimum degree holder in Engineering or Aircraft maintenance license holder, or minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Airline/MRO/OEM, in an engineering/technical position
• Great organizational skills, flexibility managing multiple priorities, working to changing deadline and attention to details
• Ability to work under stress
• Unyielding commitment to excellence, delivering the best possible outcomes for customers
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work well in a team
• Maintenance environment experience is a strong positive
• Project/continuous improvement skills
• Possess Class 3/3A driver’s license
