GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This role is for a Triple ‘A Plus SeniorSoftware Engineer for the Position and Portfolio management ART. Responsiblefor designing, developing and testing software modules, ensuring optimalfunctionality and integration within complex systems. The role demands acombination of in-depth technical expertise and collaboration withcross-functional teams to innovate and deliver high-quality software solutions.
KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION
General
- Own and prioritise RTBand CTB backlogs ensuring clarity, transparency and alignment withbusiness goals
- Investigate and resolve production issues to help maintain a stable production environment
- Balance Functional andNon-Functional requirements (Performance, Scalability, Security etc)
Client/ Stakeholder Management (internal & external)
- Stake holder management – working closelywith ITSO, Business Engineers, Production Support team and project managers to drive and manage IT delivery
- Analyse requirements, estimate efforts, plantimeline, manage progress
- Ensure awareness, involvement and supportfrom the key stakeholders and participants by building strong project teams andmaintaining robust communication on the project status throughout its lifecycle
- Drive and review technical and architectural design, enforce architectural guidelines and challenge status quo

- Take part of planning and feature refinement sessionstogether with your team.
- Stake holder management – working closely with Ops,Production support team, BAs and PMs to drive and manage IT delivery
- Together with Solution Architects design software solutionsthat are aligned to Julius Baer's overall architecture vision.
- Deliver high quality code, aligned with Julius Baerguidelines and standards.
Technical
Must Have
- 10 years of experience with Triple ‘A plus Technologies andplatforms
- Domain knowledge in wealth management products and offerings
- Deep understanding of the areas like Order management,positions and performance calculations
- Good functional understanding of business data flow betweenTAP and T24
- Strong hands-on experience on Shell scripting, PL/SQL and TAPScripting
- Strong understanding and experience with Agile developmentand Dev-ops
- At least 5 years of experience in leading and managing a team of at least 3-5 developers
