Job summary

PetroChina International (Singapore) is seeking a Treasurer/Accounts professional to manage daily cash flow and banking activities, ensuring funds are allocated correctly and timely. You will prepare bank instructions and coordinate with banks to process payments for subsidiaries.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and comfort with financial data. Proficiency in Chinese is essential for daily liaison with Beijing HQ and handling Chinese documents.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Economics or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of treasury experience.
• Prior experience in FX trades, cash management, and trade finance will be an added advantage.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Chinese as this role requires liaising with Beijing HQ on daily basis and to handle Chinese documents.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily cash flow management function, monitor cash flow movements, ensure accurate and timely fund allocation.
• Review and monitor the cash flow position of all bank accounts, reconcile bank accounts to maintain accurate cash balances and records.
• Check daily transactions with internal team to ensure daily cash flow accuracy for funding arrangements.
• Prepare daily bank instructions related to treasury transactions and follow up to complete the process in time.
• Process payments for subsidiaries in a timely manner according to internal requests.
• Coordinate with relation banks to ensure all payments are processed and released on time.
• Communicate with relevant banks to assist inquiries from other teams.
• Monitor and follow up closely with abnormal transactions if any.
• Assist on bank compliance checks related to daily transactions.
• Prepare treasury reports, analyze financial data and assist on ad-hoc jobs.
