A leading travel technology company is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive growth by managing key accounts and formulating distribution strategies. Main Duties and Responsibilities
This role requires a strong understanding of travel industry trends, technology solutions, and sales techniques. Identifying customer needs, presenting solutions, negotiating deals, and building strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Key Account Management: Build relations with travel partners, including travel agencies, tour operators, and online travel platforms. As part of this role, you will need to maximize growth and enhance the value of partnerships, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Formulate distribution strategies to optimize the distribution across travel agencies, OTAs, and other booking platforms. You will also identify new opportunities for expanding our market reach and increasing revenue.
- In performing this role, you will need to analyse market trends, competitor activities, and distribution performance to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively within a matrixed organizational structure, collaborating with sales, marketing, and operational teams to ensure alignment and execution of partnership initiatives across various geographies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging excellent communication and interpersonal skills to promote collaboration and engagement.
Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 4 to 6 years’ experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the travel or technology industries, developing and executing successful distribution strategies and campaigns.
- In-depth understanding of travel distribution channels, market trends, and revenue management principles.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with a well ingrained sales & service mindset.
