Travel Operations Assistant/Executive (BEE)

The candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our business travel events team, ensuring the seamless execution of events and travel arrangements from start to finish. Your role will involve a variety of tasks, including:

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating travel logistics, including flight and hotel bookings, transportation, and visas
  • Managing event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual equipment
  • Providing administrative / operational support to the department including assisting with event registration and attendee management, answering phone calls, creating invoices, collecting deposits and balance payments from clients.
  • Handling queries, requests & feedback from clients with utmost efficiency and professionalism.
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships with internal departments and external clients.
  • Performing any other function as deemed necessary by immediate superior or management in relation to the function.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for events and travel, and a strong attention to detail. You should also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Pre-requisites
  • Candidates with related experience in event management, hospitality, travel and / or airlines industry preferred
  • Well versed in GDS system (preferably Sabre) and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Customer-focused and good team player with collaborative mindset to drive best outcomes
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel as and when required
