Job summary

TTS GROUP PTE. LTD. is seeking a Transport Planner (Data/ITS) to support processing, analysis and management of traffic data. You will work with surveys, video data, and AI-based analytics tools to deliver insights and ensure data quality.

The role involves office-based work with occasional field activities, collaboration with project teams, and opportunities to engage in AI/ITS technologies. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Transport Planning, Traffic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; internships or relevant experience in traffic, transport, data analytics or ITS an advantage.
• Proficiency with data, spreadsheets and digital platforms; strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

TRANSPORT PLANNER (Data/ITS)

Reporting to the Director, Analytics & Data Collection, youwill support the processing, analysis and management of traffic and transportdata. Your responsibilities will include:

• Process and analyse traffic and transport datacollected from surveys and other data sources.
• Transfer and manage video footage ondesignated cloud servers and data platforms.
• Perform data entry, checking and preparationof relevant survey datasheets.
• Process video and traffic data using AI-basedanalytics platforms and technologies.
• Perform basic IoT and transport dataanalytics.
• Conduct quality checks and identify potentialdata inconsistencies, errors or missing information.
• Flag data-related issues to the Director and relevant project team members for follow-up.
• Assist in preparing data summaries, charts,tables and other analytical outputs.
• Assist in organising field personnel andresources for traffic surveys.
• Coordinate and supervise survey staff foroffice-based and field activities.
• Conduct survey briefings for field staff,stakeholders and other relevant parties.
• Support field surveys and site activitieswhere required.
• Work primarily in an office environment, withopportunities to participate in fieldwork and project activities.
• Assist in the continuous improvement andadoption of AI, ITS and automated data collection technologies within thecompany.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by theDirector.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in TransportPlanning, Traffic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Data Analytics, ComputerScience, Information Technology, Geography or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; relevantexperience in traffic, transport, data analytics or ITS will be an advantage.
• Comfortable working with data, spreadsheetsand digital platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with good attentionto detail.
• Interest in AI, IoT, Intelligent TransportSystems (ITS), video analytics and transport technology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MicrosoftOffice applications.
• Experience with data analytics, GIS, Power BI,Python or similar tools would be an advantage.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently as well ascollaboratively within a project team.
• Willing to undertake occasional fieldwork whenrequired.
