Job summary

A leading transport management consultancy in Singapore seeks a dedicated individual to manage bus transportation services. The role involves ensuring operational efficiency, adherence to customer service standards, and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate has strong administrative skills, good interpersonal abilities, and preferably relevant experience in transport management or a school environment. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Job description
Position Objective
  • Management of appointed bus transport provider(s)

  • Uphold customer satisfaction in feedback management, jointly with vendors, by providing high level of customer service

  • Management of bus tracking system

  • Responsible for the overseeing efficient, safe, and quality operations of the ELV transport services

  • Ensure vendors’ compliance with regulatory and School requirements

  • Key liaison between faculty, educational leadership and administration departments

  • Assist with implementation and compliance of local legislation & practices of any corporate initiatives set to improve quality of transportation services (i.e. LTA policies, LTA requirements)

Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist in organising and facilitating regular training sessions for appointed bus sub-contractors.

  • Maintain accurate records of training sessions and follow‑up action plans.

  • Assist in scheduling and preparing materials for weekly meetings with bus providers and school representatives.

  • Help in reviewing parental complaints, documenting resolution plans, and

  • Aid in conducting audits on bus registers, routes, cleanliness, and compliance documentation.

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.

  • Support in compiling data for monthly scorecards against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

  • Assist in monitoring daily arrival and pick‑up activities, ensuring proper deployment of personnel.

  • Assist in reviewing proposals from transport providers and tracking deliverables.

  • Support the implementation of new initiatives and ensure timely delivery of services.

  • Assist in drafting and updating Standard Operating Procedures for transportation operations.

  • Help ensure alignment with corporate requirements and timely completion of tasks.

  • Assist in generating monthly compliance reports and organizing documentation in SharePoint.

  • Provide support for additional duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor to meet operational needs.

Secondary responsibilities
  • Aid in managing small‑scale projects, including RFQ drafting, proposal evaluation, and project coordination.

  • Assist in office layout projects, including planning, execution, and handover processes.

  • Support the coordination of operations for two bus companies, ensuring seamless transportation services.

  • Facilitate communication between bus companies and school representatives to address operational issues.

Position Requirements

  • PC literate including but not limited to MS Office Suite

  • Self‑motivator and self‑starter

  • Adaptability to changes pertaining to operational needs

Qualifications
  • Diploma in Management, Hospitality & Tourism management, Logistic & Transport Management preferred but not required

  • Preferably with relevant experience in an international or any school environment

  • Similar experience in transport management preferred

8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
