Job summary

InCorp Global in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager to provide transfer pricing services for a diverse client portfolio, including multinational groups and regional businesses.

You will stay current with OECD Guidelines and IRAS requirements, helping clients meet compliance obligations while identifying TP opportunities to support firm growth. You will work with Directors to expand client relationships and collaborate across service lines on cross-border matters.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Tax or related discipline; professional qualifications preferred.
  • At least 6 years of transfer pricing experience in a professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore tax legislation, OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and current market practices.
  • Experience in TP documentation, advisory work and cross-border tax matters.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and review of Transfer Pricing Documentation (Local File and Master File) per IRAS and OECD guidelines.
  • Perform FAR analyses for intercompany transactions.
  • Conduct benchmarking and economic analyses to support arm’s length pricing.
  • Advise clients on transfer pricing policies and cross-border intercompany transactions.
  • Support clients in complying with transfer pricing regulations and corporate tax obligations.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance TP policies and compliance processes.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure timely delivery of TP services.
  • Collaborate with corporate tax and other service lines on cross-border matters.
  • Support proposals and client presentations for TP engagements.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-service business development within client portfolios.

Job description

As an Assistant Manager/ Manager, you will provide transfer pricing services to a diverse portfolio of clients, primarily multinational groups and regional businesses. You will assist clients in meeting their transfer pricing compliance obligations while advising on cross-border intercompany transactions in accordance with OECD Guidelines and IRAS requirements.

You are expected to stay current with evolving transfer pricing regulations and market developments, contributing to both compliance and advisory engagements. In addition, you will support the firm’s growth by identifying transfer pricing and related tax opportunities within existing and prospective clients, working closely with the Directors to expand client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the preparation and review of Transfer Pricing Documentation (Local File and Master File) in accordance with IRAS and OECD guidelines.
  • Perform functional, asset and risk (FAR) analyses for intercompany transactions.
  • Conduct benchmarking and economic analyses to support arm’s length pricing using relevant databases.
  • Advise clients on transfer pricing policies, intercompany pricing models and cross-border transactions.
  • Support clients in complying with transfer pricing regulations and relevant corporate tax obligations.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance clients’ transfer pricing policies, operating models and compliance processes.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality transfer pricing compliance and advisory services.
  • Collaborate with corporate tax and other service line teams on cross-border tax and business advisory matters.
  • Support proposals and client presentations for transfer pricing and related tax engagements.
  • Identify proactively transfer pricing, corporate tax and other cross-service opportunities within existing client portfolios and new business prospects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to support business development initiatives.
  • Contribute to technical articles, newsletters, seminars, webinars and other thought leadership activities that enhance the firm’s market presence.
  • Undertake ad hoc assignments and support departmental initiatives to strengthen overall team performance.

Requirements

  • Strong technical expertise in Transfer Pricing, including practical experience in transfer pricing documentation, advisory work and cross-border tax matters.
  • Regional transfer pricing experience would be an advantage.
  • Exposure to Corporate Income Tax compliance and advisory would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify business development opportunities and contribute to proposal preparation, client relationship development and service expansion.
  • Possess a degree in Accounting, Tax or a related discipline, or a professional qualification recognised by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) or the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals (SCTP).
  • At least 6 years of relevant transfer pricing experience, preferably gained in a professional services environment.
  • Sound knowledge of Singapore tax legislation, OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and current market practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
