Regional Training Manager

Nestlé Nespresso is a leading business unit of the Nestlé Group, providing premium coffee products and services both in-home and out-of-home. It has pioneered the portioned coffee market and offers a unique end-to-end business model from coffee sourcing to marketing across diverse sales channels.

As the Regional Nespresso Training Manager for Southeast Asia (SEA), you will align learning strategies with Nespresso’s business priorities across SEA, localize and implement customer‑facing learning (CFL) strategies based on the global framework from HQ, and support markets’ L&D needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement global L&D strategies and policies.
  • Roll out the global Nespresso TTT programs for all markets, including agent markets within the SEA region.
  • Plan, customize and implement global programs (including e‑Learnings) as per timelines.
  • Leverage dashboards and learning effectiveness metrics to drive the evolution of the L&D and CFL portfolios.
  • Ensure compliance with Nespresso and Nestlé HR, L&D, and regulatory requirements.
  • Submit reports to Global L&D and Nespresso HQ CFL.
  • Participate in projects assigned by Global L&D.
  • Support rollout of the global L&D portfolios across SEA and respond to ad‑hoc data requests from markets.
  • Develop and drive regional CFL and L&D strategies.
  • Collaborate with business functions to translate needs into competency frameworks.
  • Support functional leaders and SMEs in designing and updating competency frameworks.
  • Provide L&D expertise to design competency building plans.
  • Contribute to regional global learning portfolios and ensure scalability across SEA.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to design standardized CFL solutions across SEA.
  • Design, facilitate and deliver training programmes.
  • Facilitate workshops and build facilitation skills of trainers and SMEs.
  • Deliver Nespresso‑specific training programmes in markets.
  • Drive development of total training plans in the markets.
  • Use all learning technologies (BOOST, Grow, etc.) to facilitate virtual learning.
  • Collaborate with Nestlé Learning & Development team on training matters and implement across Nespresso SEA.
  • Ensure all training activities are completed timely and in compliance.
  • Propose and manage L&D budgets for the SEA region.
  • Build a trainer community across markets and coach trainers for agent markets and partners.
  • Communicate training information to HR BPs and employees market‑wide.
  • Meet regularly with the Nestlé/Nespresso L&D community.
  • Support HR BPs in relevant HR initiatives.
  • Enroll and manage external trainers where necessary.
  • Participate in appointed committees to support organisational and people competency development.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of retail/hospitality trainer experience in the mid‑luxury and/or lifestyle industry at a regional capacity; experience as a Learning Consultant is an added advantage.
  • Professional training/development qualifications.
  • Strong business awareness and the ability to adapt to various business models across Nespresso and Nestlé.
  • At least 5 years of development experience, including other functions (e.g., Marketing & Sales).
  • Experience working for a premium brand or multi‑national/multi‑channel environment with an FMCG mindset is an added advantage.
