A leading training organization in Singapore is seeking a Learning Solutioning and Training Manager. The role focuses on managing the training unit and ensuring high-quality curriculum delivery. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in instructional design, strong organizational skills, and a passion for learning. This position provides opportunities to lead training programs and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Critical Work Function: Manage the training unit, delivery, and trainers in accordance to government regulations and LHUB’s policies.
Manage the trainers in the training unit
Assist in the curriculum development and instructional design of courseware
Project manage the outsourcing of courseware development and contextualisation projects
Perform quality assurance of curriculum and training delivery
Perform trainers’ development and management
Work with product developments and manage training delivery
Support corporate initiatives and/or bids
Degree in any discipline
Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in instructional design and/or curriculum development training and development, and preferably have experience in managing funding bodies (eg: SSG, IBF, e2i)
Possess WSQ ACLP / WSQ ACTA (WSQ DDDLP / WSQ DACE will be an advantage)
Strong in needs analysis, program development, facilitation, and training delivery skills
Experience with authoring tools and learning management systems
Mature, confident, positive mindset and excellent people skills to work with different cultures and all levels of staff and trainers
Self-starter with strong organization and influencing skills, able to work with limited guidance and resources
Passion for learning and willing to learn
Possess a strong passion in fostering a learning culture, developing talents, training tools, and technology
Good command of written and spoken English
Proficiency in Microsoft PPT, Excel, Word, and data analytics skills
Strong adaptability in fast-paced environment
Design, develop, and review course proposals, curriculum, and materials.
Conduct research and development in curriculum development, instructional design, and adult teaching methodology.
Contextualize programs to meet sector and/or client requirements.
Provide oversight and direction to staff (Training and Operations executives) for seamless course delivery.
Audit curriculum and materials for compliance with WSQ/Skills Framework and/or LHUB requirements.
Manage outsourced audits to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Pilot new training programs and methodologies.
Investigate and oversee continuous improvement reviews in courses.
Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., funding bodies) for courseware and curriculum accreditation and innovation.
Oversee and manage trainers delivering courses per LHUB policies and ACTA/ACLP requirements.
Recruit trainers suitable for the courses and learner profiles.
Address trainers’ concerns with courseware and learners.
Investigate trainers and provide appropriate counselling or penalties according to LHUB policies.
Support sales and tender proposals.
Provide content expertise to Product Division/Sales.
Collaborate with Product Managers to source courses.
Work independently and under pressure to support colleagues (Product Managers, Product Sales, fellow Trainer Managers, and Training and Operations executives), trainers, and learners.
Problem‑solve effectively and make decisions to minimize adverse learner feedback.
Write reports to escalate or appraise management on issues and statuses.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure learning outcomes match requirements.
