Job Description

The Training Officer will plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of WSH's training initiatives. This role also involves supporting data collection, analytics, and process improvements for the WSH division. Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan, manage, and coordinate SPOT training, including liaising with training providers, sourcing training venues, procurement of refreshments, securing attendance through SPOT champions, and tracking attendance to ensure effective delivery.
  • Perform data cleansing of training records to facilitate auto-tracking of WSH training.
  • Support the development and testing of automated systems for WSH training tracking and reminders.
  • Assist in the development of bots to categorise SPOT observations and enhance safety data visualisation for end users.
  • Support the division in processing awards to recognise WSH efforts.
  • Assist in organising events and activities to engage staff on WSH matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
  • 1–2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Competent in data collection methods and data analytics.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Meticulous with keen attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in data analytics is an advantage.
