Job summary
A leading energy firm in Singapore is seeking a Utility Project Coordinator to manage utility diversion projects. The ideal candidate should have a degree in engineering and 1-3 years of experience in construction supervision for underground infrastructure. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors and overseeing utility projects. This role is crucial for ensuring project efficiency and compliance with utilities agencies.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in construction supervision/project coordination for underground infrastructure projects.
- Experience liaising with relevant utilities agencies.
- Registered earthwork supervisor with EMA/SPPG and BCSS is an advantage.

- Manage utility construction projects, including scope and budgets.

Responsibilities
- Coordination of the utilities diversion route, supporting structure and other required structure.
- Study and determine the existing utilities, in-charge of site utilities diversion work
- Engage and liaise with approved subcontractor for any services diversion works
- Identify and resolve system failures and perform/oversee preventative maintenance
- Direct project groups and/or technicians, providing activities and guidance on utility process, design, and construction
- Compile data on utility process units, monitoring system efficiency, energy usage and material usage
- Manage utility construction projects, developing project scope, timelines, specifications, and budgets
- Engage and liaise with approved subcontractor for any service diversion work
- Reporting to Utility Manager pertaining progress, planning and proposal to resolve anticipated issues that may hinder the site progress.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification
- 1~3 years of experience in the construction supervision/project coordination for underground infrastructure projects of similar scale and complexity
- Experience liaising with relevant utilities agencies
- Registered earthwork supervisor with EMA/SPPG and BCSS will be an advantage
