A global energy company is expanding in Singapore and is looking for a Trading Analyst to support senior traders. Due to business expansion in Singapore, they are seeking a Trading Analyst to work closely with the senior traders.
Reporting to the trading manager, the Trading Analyst supports the trading desk by providing market analysis, supply‑demand insights, price forecasts, and risk monitoring to guide trading decisions in both paper and physical markets. The role will analyze market trends, maintain forecasting models, and work with traders to optimize trading strategies. It also involves monitoring daily trades for accuracy and coordinating with the operations team.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in business or a related discipline, with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a trading or risk analyst in an energy trading company. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders. The candidate must also thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
